23 ERIE 6014
BC C
FULL SIBLING TO 23 ERIE 6011
This mating was paired for longer races (400+m). This is a cross between an Abramoski Houben and a Jos Thone hen.
The sire was obtained at the auction for the late Eddie Abramoski. The Abramoski lines (Eddie Abramoski, NY) are well known for their long-distance success, with multiple wins of 600m flown on the day. The background on his sire is unknown as I did not receive a pedigree upon winning him at the auction. However, knowing Eddie’s history and success for his many customers, I didn’t hesitate to bring this stud home as a long-distance cross. He was medium sized, confident and looked like he was ready to breed me a champion.
The dam is a Jos Thone hen out of imports from his elite bloodlines. Both her parents are siblings to big national winners in Belgium. Don’t take my word for it, check out her pedigree and that of her parents. Her sire is brother to legends “Hulk” (6x1st) and “Galaxus” (5x1st). Her dam is sister to “Figo James” 1st National Ace! Her confidence overflows and I’m pretty sure she coos in a Belgian accent. She is a smaller alpha-hen who was never raced. I've posted the pedigrees from Thone to both her parents. In her first-year breeding;
6014 is a full brother to 23 ERIE 6011 who has already claimed
This family has the looks and proven results. 6014 is a solid male who will quickly claim a top perch/box in your loft. Very active in the loft, always wanting to be involved with whatever I might be doing, showing great intelligence just like his champion brother. I’m offering one of my fave birds here simply because I have plenty of siblings. He has not been bred from. My heart may ache afterward, but I’ll be excited to hear about your results!
This bird is being donated by Guy Perry. Guy joined the ERPC a few years ago and has quickly built his team up in a short time. Flying under “Luma Reign”, he won his first 2 races this Spring (OB) and then another 2 in the Fall (YB), including winning the OH/PENN 400 Open, flying the long end (493m) to claim 1st place.
His team has proven their abilities in both long and medium distances. He races with Clausing Houbens, using other strains to cross with. Every bird @ Luma Reign is hand fed on a regular basis to maintain a comfortable and stress-free relationship between the bird and the handler.
