From Luma Reign Racing Lofts
23 ERIE 6042
Black H
This little beauty comes from a LH cross between an Eddie Abramoski LD Houben and a Mike Ganus hen from his SAMDPR lines. She is the epitome of a tight apple-bodied hen and always feels like she’s ready for a race when held in the hand. She is a bit timid, gets that from her mom, but once you’ve earned her trust, she’ll freely eat from the hand.
Her sire is a beautiful chocolate cock bred by Eddie Abramoski. I do not have much info on him as no pedigree was provided when I won him at the breeder auction for the late Eddie. I can tell you that this male is the absolute primo alpha in my loft. His daughter (6042) has inherited her pops top perch alpha attitude, too.
The dam is a granddaughter to both Said in Spun Silver & Untamed Desert, winners of 1st and 2nd place on the 350-mile final race! Bred by Ken Weyer out of direct children from Mike Ganus.
This is a perfect cross for someone wanting to introduce some long distance to their current GFL lines. She won 4th place @ 300m as yearling this spring. She also flew the 500-mile race once, coming in 13th place on a tough race as my 3rd bird back. She is nestmate to “6043” who scored as my #2 racer (coefficient scoring) the last two race seasons (yb/ob). These were the only two siblings from this pair raced, showing their consistency. 6042 has not been bred from.
This bird is being donated by Guy Perry. Guy joined the ERPC a few years ago and has quickly built his team up in a short time. Flying under “Luma Reign”, he won his first 2 races this Spring (OB) and then another 2 in the Fall (YB), including winning the OH/PENN 400 Open, flying the long end (493m) to claim 1st place.
His team has proven their abilities in both long and medium distances. He races with Clausing Houbens, using other strains to cross with. Every bird @ Luma Reign is hand fed on a regular basis to maintain a comfortable and stress-free relationship between the bird and the handler.
