BRED BY ED MINVIELLE

AU 17 A 17660 Blue Check.  Very late hatch from 2017.  Bred by Ed Minvielle. Direct youngster from Ed's "El Maestro" cock, 1st Ace Middle Distance D-II, All North America, RPD, 2015 Old Birds. Dam is "Warren's Girl" perhaps the best young bird in all Detroit area in 2015 YB.

Both parents are closely related, as their dams are full sisters and their sires are close cousins.  The blending of the Musketier and Gevaert Van Schoorisse blood is highly successful for Ed, perhaps because the two families have common ancestry.

PIPA ranked the Gevaert Van Schoorisse loft as one of their "best lofts in Belgium" for the month of June, this year - 2018.  The Musketier and Gevaert Van Schoorisse combo is especially good in "racing weather" where the speeds are at or near 1240-1450ypm,

typical racing speeds in good weather.  They are front flying pigeons, as can be attested by the number of 1st place winners they have produced for Ed since 2000.  This blood was heavily involved in Ed's winning two 1st Central Jersey Combine races in a row in two

successive weeks in two different lofts in 2017 young birds.  Ed reports that when these birds are blended onto his longer distance families they are producing some of his best longer distance and futurity birds.  A full sibling to 17660 produced a 1st Champion young bird in

south Florida in 2017 young birds.  Another full sibling has proven to be a top flyer and now a top breeder in Detroit for my good friend Warren Sessink.  These birds are also flying well in the Midwest, especially for the Pieper loft, in Milwaukee, as they have used them as a cross

to their birds with great success, and this combo has produced an E-1 winner in the Minnesota Flying Aces OLR

two of the last 3 years.
