Welcome to the 3rd Annual McCabe Garfield Memorial Sale!!! And we are leading off with an absolute ROCK STAR. I am going to go out on a limb here and say that this young Hen (I believe it is) has been my pick of the loft since July of 2025 when we started forming the sale list for 2026. 

25-CDR-5966 Spl Hen "Lead Off Lilly". As im sure it is with many of you when you go out to the loft and look over your birds you are looking for certain special traits about each one. We do the same and this sweetheart fits the bill for a special in many ways. She handles like a dream. Very balanced, and over the top soft feathered. This one is bred down from two of my favorite pigeons and above all the BEST Grizzle Hen I have ever raised, hands down!! 

Sire: 24-Zephyr-2459 "Vince" 

A very special pigeon from the loft of the late Rand Walz. This pigeon was given to us By Vince Lombardi who was best friends with Randy. I have absolutely loved this Cock bird since day one and am so thankful to have him in the loft. He is very,very well bred. Many of his babies are out all over the Country to races this year. Many of you know that Randy's success in the Hoosier is dang near unmatched. 2459 is bred down from many of those same lines. 

Dam: 17-CDR-7102 "7102" Grizzle. The Cream of the crop. The Hen that has changed ours and many other lofts around the Country. From the same line as 7112 "Ms Millionaire" who was 1st at 200, and 4th Ave Speed of the 2017 Hoosier Classic. This hen has bred many, many money winning birds. She is a GOLD Mine and as you can see is getting up there in age. I don't see us parting with too many more of her babies, maybe one more special for this sale!!
