As we enter into our third week of the McCabe Garfield Memorial Sale we have 4 birds selected that we are extremely high on. Our lead off pigeon this week is a very special young bird that is from a Father / Daughter mating. As you study this pedigree you are going to see some pigeons in there that have flat out produced and have been pivotal in our success over the years. Up for auction is 26-CDR-6928 Sltpw Hen (Sex not Guaranteed). This is an incredible young bird that handles extremely well. When we put this pair together we saw so much potential in the breeding loft. Fact is we also saw enough in the pedigree to say "heck lets fly one" too. 

Sire: 24-CDR-4102 BB Cock. A proven flyer and now breeder in our loft. He completed the entire series out to 380 miles in the New England Derby. He is the nestmate to 4101 who won the New England Derby the same year. She was Eq 1st at 315 and 380 miles and was 1st Ave Speed as well. This line of birds has been the bread and butter for years. His Sire is NB 18 who is no longer alive and produced many, many great breeders and flyers. The Dam is the Joe Z hen 1744 that in her first two years with us bred the New England Derby winner and a Hoosier Money winner with two different cock birds. 

Dam: 25-CDR-5955 SltPw Hen. The BEST pigeon I produced in 2025!!! From the day she was weaned she was my favorite bird and still from 2025 she holds that title! Her sire is 4102 and Her Dam is 1624 which just so happens to be from a Mother/Son mating and down from one of the best hens we had the chance to breed from. 4600!!! Many many winners over the years in our loft that you can put the credit back on 4600 who is also the last Direct Daughter of the great 28 Leen Boers hen!
