So if I was in the market for a pair of birds I think id start with this hen, then id go and put a bid on 6927 while I was at it!! Yes would their babies be crazy inbred to Sure Bet? Yes, yes they would... But would they also have the perfect outcross in the BELT HVR's and our Grizzle Line? Absolutely, and that my friends is the recipe for a winner at 400 miles as a young bird!! Up for auction is 25-CDR-5970 SltPW Hen. This hen is smaller in size, with soft feather and plenty of muscle. She appears to be just starting her molt but still feels great. She is one to get excited about for sure. 

Sire: 20-DWI-363 Silver Cock: Bred by my buddy Josh Cooper off one of his top BELT HVR's mated back to the BEST Grizzle Hen we have ever raised; 7102!! This COck bird was flown in the 2021 Spring Break race where he was consistent and completed the entire series. 

Dam: 20-CDR-238 BBPD Hen. Bred by my good friend Archie Shaffer and was a special gift directly off one of his best hens 830 who is a Gr Daughter of Sure Bet who was also the dam to "Miss Millionaire" who was 1st vs 1200 plus at 200 miles and 4th Ave Speed in the 2017 Hoosier Classic. Her Sire is the great 267 from Maier Loft inbred to Sure Bet!! 

Like I mentioned above if I was in the market for that special mating that wont break the bank and give you a great chance at winning some races id certainly invest in 5970 with 6927 as her mate.
