7774 and 7775 are nest mates, two very well put together birds, tight body, pin tail, super feather, extremely buoyant, and very alert. they are the result of a late cross I decided to try, and wow I’m definitely keeping this pair paired for next year’s breeding, season as this nest turned out very nice! Of note, the half siblings of the mother’s side are some of my best performers three races into young birds now; so far and all 4 are still in competition even after our combine had almost 50% losses unfortunately. I first purchased this cock thinking it was a hen, but later found out I was very wrong. This is his first year breeding here in my loft, but has shown some very promising and desirable traits. A larger cock, but very buoyant, if you put him in your hands you wouldn’t believe it, there’s absolutely no weight to him even though he’s packed with muscle. HIGH character, possibly of all my cock birds. I still have three of four of his young on my team after heavy losses this year, and they are showing promise.
