Why These Birds Are Being Offered

This is not a sale I wanted to make.

The loft was built on leased land. That lease is gone, and with it the place these pigeons lived, bred, and raised their young. I am selling because I no longer have the ground under the loft — not because the birds failed.

They have done the opposite. This family has bred well. The youngsters have been sent out into real competition: the Florida Pigeon Derby, the Tar Heel Classic, Cuevas Classic, and Big Andy’s. Those are hard one-loft races, and that is where this blood has been tested.

I built this loft to keep a foundation, not to turn it over. Losing the lease leaves me no choice. These young birds have the strength, alertness, and breeding quality that put their offspring on those race sheets.
