My original pigeons were originally selected by Piet DeWeerd for my friends Alphonse Versprille Jr. in Ohio, Maurice Jemal in Mexico. I also have direct children from the top pigeons from the Late Roger Mortvedt who holds as many AU records as anyone. I have several lines of Champion Pigeons. I’ve selected and crossed them by Performance. I have culled extensively and there are no culls being sold. I have treated them for all internal and external parasites. And used the top medications for all the other diseases that pigeons can carry. Their health is guaranteed. I am a retired High School coach and teacher and loved winning Championships. I have also loved winning against the top competition in the USA. Some highlights of my pigeon Career;

Winning many races in Eastern Idaho (SRV Club);

Winning top prizes in the AU National Convention Race in 1990, 7th and 10th vs 880 pigeons raced as a handler.

Winning 1st, 17th in the Snow Bird in 1991 plus other money prizes. $52,000.

Winning 1st with Art Hees at the 150-mile FVC Summer Classic winning $25,000 as the breeder, and winning other places as the Handler in 1992.

Winning 2nd, 4th, 6th, 10th, 13th plus more at 200 miles in the FVC Summer Classic in 1992.

Winning 1st, 13th, 16th, and many other places at 300 miles at the 1992 FVC Summer Classic. Total Money won for me and my friends was over $107,000. My time flying in the FVC club at that time was against the legends including Art Hees, Marty Ladin, Danny Hinds, Suvit, Ed and Peter Lorenz, Carl Loizzi, Red Holland, Tony Thomas, Ed Schmierer, Cal Calabrese’s, Tony Sanzo, Jimmy Bennett, Paul Macy, Carman Griffith, Lloyd Felix. Morris Adler, etc. Fun Times.

Won Combine overall at 350 miles in FVC Club in 1993.

1st Drop San Diego Classic winning $8300 in 1990.

6th and 7th in the AU National Convention Race in 1992 in Hawaii. My Friend Alphonse Versprille was 1st. Three out of my five birds clocked in final race.

1st Drop in 1993 One Loft Race in Sacramento One Loft Race. Won $3,500.

2nd Drop and 3rd Drop in the Las Vegas Legacy Loft Race won $4000 in 1993.

Got out of pigeons from 1994-1999 and went back into coaching.

In 1997 I had 4 California State Place winners and our team placed 7th in the State out of over 1,500 high schools. I was also selected as the SDCIF Coach of the Year.

In 1999 I got back into the Pigeons, and was given the remaining pigeons from my friend Alphonse Versprille Jr. In the 1980’s Alphonse had purchased 20 direct imports from Jan Grondelaar’s and they were handpicked for him by the late great Piet DeWeerd. They won races for everyone who got them.

At the time I was living in Vista California and joined the Palomar Racing Pigeon Club. At one of their Club Futurity races I won 1st and 2nd and won another $5000.

In 2003 I moved to Riverside California and joined the SBV club. There I competed against Roger and Anne Mortvedt, Eddie Hogue, Leonard Lee, Brian Crossen, Carl Jarson, Steve Putman, Jeff Cramer, Mark Rozwadowski, Steve Witmer and his wife Melissa, etc. All of them have won AU National Awards.  At the time I was also a member of the 395 Concourse with 200 plus members. I won multiple Overalls and the Loft of the Year. I purchased as many of the top pigeons as I could to make my loft stronger. The Casaert’s from Steve Putman via Frank Mclaughlin and Crazy Al made an immediate impact.

2004 I bred two multiple money winners at the Devour Classic.

2005 I bred multiple money winners in the Derby Races in the 395 Concourse.  Won Four Overalls in the 395 Combine. Won multiple AU Awards.

2001, 2006, and 2007, I bred money winners at the Late Hatch Classic. Bred Multiple AU Registered Champions and Elite Champions.

2007 I bred money winners in the SBV Futurity race.

In 2009 I bred the 3rd place winner in the AU National Convention race in the Fall River Club in Massachusetts. Won $9000.

2010 I had lower back surgery.

2010 My pigeons bred the Late Hatch Classic winner and it was the only day bird. She won $9950 for Nick Scarpine.

2011-2015 my pigeons bred multiple place winners across the country. Including the AU National Convention Race in Omaha and the Detroit Motor City Races for my friend Jim Micenec. And winning the IEIC club derby races for myself.

2016 I handled pigeons for the AU National Convention Races. I won 1st in the first two races in my section. I won several thousands of dollars and we’re all waiting to be paid.
