Perfect 6251 is a special situation you must appreciate for your breeding pen. I send a number of small teams of YB’s out for testing. 6249 was part of the surviving 4 of 12 that went to a first-time flyer. He settled them nicely by September of 2016 and trained them to 35 miles a couple of times, then was out of state until March of 2017 when he released the 11 remaining at that time from 35 miles – an hour before dark – into an ice storm. 6251 is one of only 4 to come back – and she came alone Day 3. Character and intelligence! ………Not surprisingly, FULL siblings are top breeders for me having bred: #4 Champion YB, all Boston including: 4th, 7th, 4th, AND 6th @ 150, 200, 250, 300; PLUS, #16 Champion YB, all Boston with Top 5% finishes @ the 150, 200, and 300! SIRE: Pre Olympic 20, direct son of Pre Olympic (“Greatest racer of his decade.”), sire and gr’sire to winners. DAM: Perfect Too, dam of All Perfect, one of my best any distance racers (1st , and finally, 8th 300 vs. 800+ Birds/50+ Lofts, into a N/NE headwind); plus other top performances. Perfect 6251 is destined to breed winners.
UPDATE: I just handled this very special Hen again. She has a very rich gravel eye with a lot of 'sign' around the pupil. I saw that nearly all of Gaby's birds on PIPA recently had gravel eyes.
And I just have to say again, this Hen is very likely to breed far above average for you - rich in high performance blood - as she showed in tough weather conditions, late in the day.
