About 410-2000
One of the world's very most famous racing pigeon breeders in all of history, and a modest claim at that. 410 is a 2000 hatch, a successful racer, one of only seven day birds in the San Diego Holiday Cup race in California, handled by John Timmerman, ( and the only day bird clocked in on the long south east end). This race position was at a vast disadvantage and required a bird that could be clocked yet after dark in order to be still a first day bird. Then in 2001 his illustrious breeding career started, with his first couple of youngsters produced being sent off to the Sun City Million Dollar Pigeon Race, a world class event in South Africa. The final in February 2002 saw only four-day birds, all after dark, and all after 13+ hours on the wing. This is an interesting demonstration of birds that race into the dark, produce more birds that score into the night, after racing all day long. A 410 daughter named Valentin won 3rd and a $75,000.00 winner for me, with the nest brother named Woven Crown scoring the next morning 36th, against 1,653 birds, and Winning another $3,000.00. These birds kept on coming when others did not genetically have the heart or the stamina to continue on home. This was the only two babies I sent there that year from 410 and his mate 217 of 2000.
The next year in 2003, I won 1st prize off of a full sister to 410 who is 248 of 2000, Winning us $200,000.00 against 1,676 birds, and by over a minute ahead of the others in the race. In 2004, 410 and another mate 163 of 2002, bred 24th, a $3,500.00 winner. I had five birds in the money and my other prize winners were all related, including my 26th prize winning $3,500.00 was from a son of 410. In 2005 there were only 24 day birds of the 2,642 birds going to the final race. I only sent two from my 410, with yet a different mate number 186 of 2003, and they were my first and second birds home, with Heidi scoring 4th overall and winning $56,840.00 for us. In 2006 my first two birds home again were sons from 410 and another new mate of his, number 6091951 of 2002. In 2007 a son of 410 and his grand daughter, named Davie, ended up being 19th final overall hotspot ace bird of the series.
Phenomenal performances and unequalled consistencies by anyone in the world, we are the only breeders to produce and race three prizes in the top four in the million-dollar pigeon finals races, including a 1st, a 3rd, and a 4th. Children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren etc. winning and breeding from 410 are too numerous to list here, but you can see it in the pedigrees of all of our best birds of today, and tomorrow. We are the only fanciers to win number one hotspot ace of the Million Dollar Pigeon races and to have a customer win it also, and to have two customers winning number one grand averages of the series also.
I have no direct children to sell from 410 anymore, as I am down to such a few that I am keeping for myself. My best current super breeders are grandchildren and great-grandchildren and on and on from my unforgettable 410. A positive and necessary sign for the most genetically pre-potent producer, is to breed some of the offspring that are even better yet than the famous one, 410 himself, and these are the advances for the future.
Ziko, my foundation number one World famous super breeder, inbred five times in the back of this spectacular pedigree. Ziko is in the pedigrees of four birds in the top four prizes of previous Million Dollar Pigeon Race finals, as well as hundreds of others there and everywhere else. This is a statement that no one else in the world can make within just a few generations of the star producer.
