2017 SNOW FEST AUCTION

In this auction PROTEGE LOFT / Kenny Rhodes is offering from his very best breeders in one loft competition in possibly the harshest conditions. A direct child of "Fantoom" and the "Fantoom Family" such as "Diablo", "Sister of Purdey" along with "Picasso" and their siblings are also offered in this auction of 11 pigeons!

 Kenny has also agreed with the "Snow Fest" organizers to start all the opening bids at $450.00. Kenny says he has never offered this many pigeons (11) ever at one time here in America in one auction. Being a builder in Pennsylvania he just don't have the time.

The majority of these birds are mainly birds bred for the South African Million Dollar Pigeon Race. In 2015 he decided to somewhat concentrate on this particular race and combining his results in 2015 with 2016 the results were nothing short of amazing. All results listed below are all won by the family of "Fantoom"!

CAR RACE 1 - 47TH PLACE, MISSING THE CAR BY 2 MINUTES AND 5 SECONDS! 1ST PLACE 2 BIRD CHALLENGE  2 RD IN 3 BIRD CHALLENGE.

CAR RACE 2 - 8TH PLACE, MISSING THE CAR BY 14 SECONDS! 10TH IN THE 2 BIRD CHALLENGE,6 TH IN THE 3 BIRD CHALLENGE.

CAR RACE 3 - 10TH PLACE, MISSING THE CAR BY ONLY 12 SECONDS! 55 TH  IN THE 2 BIRD CHALLENGE, 64TH IN THE 3 BIRD CHALLENGE

CAR RACE 4 - 12TH PLACE, MISSING THE CAR BY 11 SECONDS!  11TH AND 16TH IN THE 2 BIRD CHALLENGE, 1ST AND 10TH IN THE 3 BIRD CHALLENGE

CAR RACE 5 - FIRST!!! AND WON THE CAR! (finally) 26TH IN THE 2 BIRD CHALLENGE, 20TH IN THE 3 BIRD CHALLENGE!

 These results are against about 4 to 5000 pigeons initially entered in the race and only sending 8 pigeons in total listed under Rhodes / Wilfon Team. The 2 teams of 4 entered won the car in Car Race 5 and just missed winning 4 additional cars in Car Races 1,2,3 and 4 by a grand total of 2 minutes and 40 seconds.

As stated by Frank McLaughlin.. (USA coordinator for the SAMDPR) These results were never achieved by anyone in the 19 year history of the race.
