General Thoughts from NRPL:
This is a nice handling hen. She has a few weaknesses in her conformation that may dissuade a few of you. If you are looking to buy a pigeon to win a show ribbon – don’t buy this hen. If you are looking to buy a hen that really should be a good breeder, then bid with confidence and keep me informed of her success in the breeding loft. The maternal grandmother to this hen was NRPL 5079 who flew in the 2015 AIC Race. She and her nestmate sister NRPL 5080 won around $25,000 in the race. Prior to selling 5079 I mated her to Florian and got Splendiferous – only one egg was good. What a golden egg that turned out to be? Now Splendiferous is one of my favorite breeder hens and I mated her to one of my most promising cocks in God of War. Again, I wouldn’t bet against this hen being a super breeder. She is special.
