AU 19 DBLJ 14 "DESERT STORM". Successfully tried a new mating this year. I bought a Kuwait cock from the bloodline that is consistently in the top 10% over the last 5 years in SAMDPR. Mated him to a linebred Gaby hen down from Bliksem on both sides of pedigree. The nestmate to DBLJ 14 was a consistent flyer all YB season, and placed 1st through the trap, 4 on the drop, 300 mi club race vs almost 300 birds. I took 1-2-3-4 in that race in the club. Gonna put these two breeders back together again in 2020 for sure. "DESERT STORM" is a wonderful handling hen, strong back, pin tail, good ventilation on the outer flights, very alert in the loft and just overall a peach. Has the genes to be a super producer. I would cross this hen on anything.
