He was raced in the Crooked River Challenge as a Youngster and had a respectable showing for an inbred recessive red!! "Sam's" father flew the Spring Break Challenge Race finishing 66th in the 350 mile final and has bred 2nd at 315 and 11th at 320 as youngsters!! "Sam's" mother is an inbred daughter of "Grand Canyon" when mated to her grandson "239" who flew in the Texas Showdown racing well in the early races but blowing it out of the water winning the 400 mile final!! Winners are all over the place down from this Hofken line originating with Ganus Family Loft's Hollywood line...that's where the Recessive Red comes from!! "Sam" is a medium sized cock with a wedge shape, extremely soft feathers, supple muscle, incredible wings (watch the video), a pin tail, strong vents, and beautiful pearl/silver eyes!! He's currently mated to the Recessive Red hen I'm selling this week and they compliment each other very well and will breed Recessive Reds together!! He's up to date on PMV and KM-1 Vaccines and is ready to breed out of the box!!
