Come visit the inaugural pigeon auction from Champ Camp Chicago!! Our loft was launched by Shane Sims in 2021 under the mentorship and tutelage of the late and great Tim Lucas (Champ Camp Racing Lofts).  Shane was Tim's long-time friend and former brother-in-law and is very close with Tim's entirely family.  Tim approached Shane (already a successful entrepreneur and experienced businessman) in mid 2021 about joining the Racing Pigeon business/sport. After kicking the tires of the business model and attending the 2021 Hoosier Classic Race at Tim's side, Shane found a passion for the sport and decided to throw his hat in the ring. Tim granted Shane permission to use the name "Champ Camp Chicago" and Shane set-off to build a new world-class loft site in September 2021. 

We were shocked & devastated by Tim's loss several months later (as everyone was), but Shane plowed forward building our loft with Tim's teachings and insight in-hand.  In 9 short months we finished building our amazing loft site and purchased some very high-quality GFL breeders (some acquired from Tim before his untimely death), as well as some 2021 Hoosier Classic final race champions.

We're finally ready to reveal our first batches of young birds (30 young birds ready to go!) and our first auction will be starting 9/26/22!!  You can expect the absolute highest quality pigeons and will receive top-notch pedigree paperwork and DNA Certs, along with all vaccine/worming/antibiotic treatment records so that you know these pigeons have been raised with the greatest level of care (as taught to us by our mentor).
