I do not know of any Huysken Van Riel family that can say they are uncrossed over 60 years than Phil Bomhoff of the Original Syndicate loft original family of Dr.Whitney /George Shilton , this bird has some Koopman on sires side was bred in a individual breeding cage  as a kid i used to go to the BLI CLUB in mastic long island in the 70s with my stepfather and would be awed by the stories i heard from them when they visited their club at that time Bomhoff and his partners including Gabrowski who won every race one year with the same three birds week after week so when i decided I wanted van riels this is the ones I wanted
