Sire is the Debacker Cock (B18-3036495) BBC. Inbred to Chris Debacker's super breeder - Staf. Florian is obviously my best cock and then I have three other cocks who are 2A, 2B and 2C. They are all #2 - the Debacker Cock, Pepe San Badger & de Belsar '15. Debacker Cock is really special, for example in the 2022 CA Classic 2nd Wind - 3/680b (1st Drop) was his g’son and 4/680b (1st Drop) was his son - they won $27k+ between them.
Dam is Meeple (AU 22 NRPL 2160) BCH. This hen was in the last round I raised in 2022 and I kept them both for myself. Florian being mated to the import daughter of Kleine Gerard x Sister Friendship from Florian Hendriks is something I was very excited about! I only bred a few youngsters off NRPL 2160 & NRPL 2161 as they were late hatches. My 9/1170b (1st Drop) and 17th Averages bird in the recent California Classic is off NRPL 2161 (nestmate to 2160) - not a bad start! There are a few more flying in the Florida Derby so the story here is still being written.
